My windows are now completed. I have a product called Sunray Fiberglass windows which were highly recommended to me from Caleb. These are a few things I've noticed in comparison with my older windows. My new windows have non-metal parts that allow a window to open, close and stay in a properly sealed closed position and will last for a longer period of time. As I've found out the quality of the hardware is also a key element for the performance of your windows but also for their durability and longevity. I've listen to how smoothly the bedroom window hardware turns, and how it transitions into the open and closed position, which is easy to operate. There are no drafts or water leaks, due to a frame with good thermal resistance. I've also noticed in my room its super quiet, which also has to do with a high performance window and a good sound insulation. These windows are Energy Star rated which are very energy-efficient. I also noticed that the feel of these windows compared to my older ones is signifantly different, I would say more flexible or even stronger. These windows have a robust glass and a fiberglass frame, which has a very low rate of expansion and contraction as Caleb explained and lasts 40% longer than pvc windows. These windows will improve your home’s appearance, they'll provide safety and security, improve your home’s energy efficiency and have at least an average lifespan of approximately 15-20 years and they'll be easy to maintain . I would highly recommend these windows.
